International airport public viewing gallery to re-open soon

Sri Lanka Aviation authority has decided to re-open the closed public viewing gallery at the Bandaranaike International Airport by next week.

Informed sources said that the decision has been taken with the removing of the security threat from the LTTE to the country's only international airport.

The viewing gallery was closed in July 2001 after the LTTE launched an attack on the airport.
