Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium declared open
President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared open the International Sports Complex in Diyagama, Homagama a short while ago. The foundation stone for the complex was laid on 05th of June 2006.

Spread over 126 acres, the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium in Diyagama, Homagama, about 15 kilometers southeast of capital Colombo, will facilitate the sports of rugby, soccer, as well as athletics including track and field. The ground comprises a swimming pool, a rifle shooting range and a gymnasium.
