We heard that President Mahinda Rajapaksa has appointed an investigation committee.

There are many students with us to give evidence to the committee.

If Government is unable to reveal the truth, we will gather all students to Colombo and protest, he said.

There were protests organized by IUSF opposite Peradeniya, Kelaniya, Rajarata, Sabaragamuwa, Ruhunu and Visual Performing Arts yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kirulapone Police and Welikada Police have arrested six university students while pasting posters regarding the death of Ruhunu University student on June 25.

Two of them were from Sri Jayawardenepura University and others were from the Indigenous Medical Faculty of the Colombo University.

IUSF will file a Fundamental Rights case at the Supreme Court within this week against the violation of their human rights, said Premarathne.
