Rs. 30 tax slapped on imported potatoes
A tax of Rs. 30 is to be imposed on every kilogram of potatoes imported. The Finance Ministry Secretary has been directed by President Mahinda Rajapaksa to implement this tax with immediate effect, says the President’s Media Unit.
