Reservoirs open
The sluice gates of the Laxapana and Canyon reservoirs have been opened as a result of heavy rains, the spokesman of the Disaster Management Center, Pradeep Kodippily told.

He said the three sluice gates of the Laxapana and two gates of Canyon reservoirs have been opened.
He also said that no incidents of disaster have been reported yet.
